Welcome to the 8th Grade Computer Class information page.
Avery Historical Museum Trip On Monday, March 7th, the 8th grade AVID class and the 8th grade computer classes from Avery Middle School visited the Avery County Historical Museum in Newland. The classes are working together on a video project to celebrate our county's 100th Anniversary! Students were given tours by the museum volunteers and were allowed to collect information and take pictures of items of interest to them for their prospective project topics. These videos can be viewed on each student's page of the classroom wiki created by this semester's computer application students.
Kasey Jones and Lizzie Andrews collected information and pictures directly from the museum during the field trip about their topic--Education in Avery County. Below is their final product.
